To do all we can to honor and support all who have been there for our friends and neighbors. Including veterans, first responders and our small businesses.
They were there for us and we’ll be here for them.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
North Texas Giving Day
This is Rowlett Strong’s first year to participate in North Texas Giving Day. We know there are lots of organizations and other events such as the recent hurricanes that could use your help. But Rowlett Strong is counting on your support this Thursday, September 14th for North Texas Giving Day so that we can bring quality after-school programs to Rowlett to help our kids learn and stay out of trouble.
We have also started our First Response Appreciation Fund for the police and fire departments that came from all over North Texas to help us when Rowlett was the site of a disaster, the Christmas tornado of 12-26-15. We want to show these first responders that we’re there for them just like they were there for us. Our first fundraiser for the fund was the First Response Appreciation Gala held on Saturday, July 15.

- Spread the word: Tell your friends, share on your personal social media, and send emails about Rowlett Strong and North Texas Giving Day
- Make your donation on September 14th: Give at the Rowlett Strong North Texas Giving Day link between 6 a.m. and Midnight
- And new in 2017, starting September 7th at 8:00 a.m., you can schedule your North Texas Giving Day gifts in advance. Simply go to NorthTexasGivingDay.org between September 7 and September 13, and you will be able to schedule gifts for Rowlett Strong and your other favorite nonprofits!
